I am a Research Specialist in the Program on Regulation, Therapeutics, and Law (PORTAL) at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. I also serve as a Teaching Fellow at Harvard Medical School and Resident Tutor at Harvard College.
My research interests lie at the intersection of competition and innovation, with a particular focus on pharmaceutical policy. I am interested in the impact of patents and patent litigation on competition, access and innovation, as well as funding dynamics for research and development of new drugs.
My research is primarily empirical, leveraging various datasets on drug approvals, marketing, patents, and litigation outcomes.
I hold a law degree (JD Equivalent) from the University of Trento in Italy and a Masters of Laws (LLM) in intellectual property law from Washington University in St. Louis. I also received a Master of Bioethics (MBE) from Harvard Medical School. At Harvard, I was a student fellow with the Petrie-Flom Center for Health Law Policy, Biotechnology, and Bioethics at Harvard Law School. After graduating from law school, I completed my traineeship in intellectual property law at Hogan Lovells in their Milan office.
In my free time photography is my happy place and a snapshot of my portfolio is available here.
